EVENTS

 

The Tau Epsilon Chapter of KDP hosts many events and drives throughout the school year for local K-12 students as well as for local elementary schools. As a chapter, we also hold community events for our members to bond and to better get to know one another.

Annual Events and Drives Include:

 

Initiation Ceremonies: Tau Epsilon Chapter initiates new members once per semester. 

 

Skelementary: Halloween-themed event that brings elementary school students to the Marsal Family School of Education for fun activities such as games, crafts, and a haunted house. 

 

MLK Day: Members volunteer to facilitate workshops for local elementary and high school students on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Blood Drives: KDP and the Marsal Family School of Education collaborate with the Red Cross to host three annual blood drives in the School of Education Building. 

 

Book Drive: KDP holds an annual book drive in the fall semester for a local elementary school.

 

School Supply Drive: KDP holds an annual school supply drive in the winter semester for a local elementary school. 

 

Community Events: Opportunities for members to bond and get to know each other.  Past events have included study gatherings, trivia nights, and ice skating at Yost Ice Arena.
